Yes it does. If it stops there's always FileZilla and similar clients to fall back on. May or may not be available for the tracking device in your pocket.

AndFTP works great on the mobile front; I use it heavily with sftp
to transfer files from my desktop. It'll handle ftps as well, is
anyone actually uses that.
